A tragic accident in South Carolina claimed the lives of three women from Gujarat, as their car lost control due to speeding and veered off the road.

In a tragic incident in South Carolina, three women of Indian origin from Gujarat lost their lives when their speeding car careened out of control, launching into the air and crashing into trees. The fatal crash occurred on Friday at noon near Lakeside Road on Staunton Bridge Road, as confirmed by South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers.

Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis of the Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as Rekha Dilip Patel, Sangita Bhavnesh Patel, and Manisha Rajendra Patel, all hailing from Gujarat's Anand district but residing in the US. The trio, who were relatives, had ties to Vasna (Borsad) and Kavitha villages in Borsad taluka of Anand district.

The women were related through marriage, with Rekha and Sangita married to brothers Dilip Patel and Bhavnesh Patel, and Manisha married to their cousin Rajendra. While Sangita's father, Vitthalbhai, still lived near Kavitha village, the rest of the family members had migrated to the US earlier.
